And of course, it’s meant showering my new pup, Loki, with all the love and attention I can muster, knowing that Bandit would want me to provide a loving home to another four-legged friend.

But I firmly believe that with time, patience, and a willingness to embrace the grief and the joy, we can find our way back to a place of peace and fulfillment. Our beloved companions may be gone, but the indelible mark they’ve left on our hearts and souls is there to stay.
